Μεταφραστές / Υποτιτλιστές
για τα κανάλια της συνδρομητικής τηλεόρασης NOVA
(Κωδ.Θέσης: PLST_02-15)

Ο κατάλληλος συνεργάτης θα πρέπει να διαθέτει τα εξής προσόντα:

• Πτυχίο με ειδικότητα στην μετάφραση ή/και τον υποτιτλισμό
• Επαγγελματική εμπειρία σε αντίστοιχη θέση
• Άριστη γνώση Αγγλικών
• Γνώση και άλλων ξένων γλωσσών θα θεωρηθεί επιπρόσθετο προσόν
• Πολύ καλή γνώση χρήσης ηλεκτρονικού υπολογιστή και ικανότητα εκμάθησης νέων προγραμμάτων
• Ικανότητα οργάνωσης και διαχείρισης χρόνου και όγκου εργασίας
• Ομαδικό πνεύμα

Dear Sir,
First of all I apologize for writing in English. I can reassure you though that I speak Greece fluently, I just don’t feel comfortable in writing in it.
Well, my name is Cristiano, I a Dutchman, but was born in Brazil from a German mother and a Brazilian father and was lucky enough to grow up with 2 languages; at a very young age I received as well English, French and Italian classes. I finished my University studies in Philology for Dutch, German and French. And some years later I restarted my studies, but that time for Spanish and Modern Greek, after which I was invited 3 times by the Kostas and Elenis Ourani Foundation to come for some months to Greece and that really boosted my knowledge of Greek. These “upotrofies” were actually meant to specialize in Greek, during which I had to be working on Greek literature translations as well, which eventually were published in Brazil.
As you shall read in my résumé, I have been working until nowadays teaching and translating foreign languages – Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and Greek – interrupted every now and then by different activities, like working at the reception of a 5 stars hotel in Brazil (Maksoud Plaza) and in Holland (Sofitel), as well as flying as a flight attendant for KLM, which has given me a broader knowledge of other cultures and languages.
Since I have just arrived in Athens from the Netherlands, my main concern is finding a suitable job, which I think to have found when I read your advertisement.
I think I comply with requirements you mention in the job description and would really like to be given the chance to introduce myself during an interview.

I appreciate the fact that one of our job posts attracted your interest and that it fits perfect with your profile.
